Great day in Kerry
All 38 registered u10s travelled to kerry to play Austin Stacks on Saturday last. An early start crossing the ferry and a busy day attending a waterpark after there matches in Tralee. Fergus Rovers u10s participate in their first blitz of the year in Kilmihil on sunday (23-4-17). The blitz started at 10am with teams from West Clare Gaels, Kilmhil Eire Og and Kilrush. Fergus Rovers field two teams on the day with 30 players togging all playing their part. Well done to the mentors who travelled with the girls.

U10 training (4-4-17)
ON Saturday 8-4-17 training for girls born in 2007 and 2008 will switch to Ballynacally pitch at 10am to 11am.
U10 training for girls born in 2007 and 2008 continues on Saturday mornings in Kildysart astro truf from 9am to 10am.
From Apirl 8th training will switch to Ballynacally for six weeks from 10am to 11am.
Sucessful blitz (13-6-16)
On Saturday morning last Fergus rovers held a very sucessful blitz in Frure. Two teams fro Doora Barefield and a team from Kilrush travelled while the host club field two teams. Each team played each other with Sarah Mullins and Breda Garry refs for the day. Fergus Rovers had 31 players togged on the day and many players putting on the club colors for the first time. The day was well run with a lot of the hard work done behind the scenes by mentors Patricia Meaney, Alan Culligan, Deirdre Cummins Barry Keating, Paul O Sullivan, Peter O Leary, Michael Melican and Aine Garry. Parents of the players provided enough food to cater for all.
The blue team was Abbie Doyle, Meabh Ryan Abbie Cahill, Hazel Keating, Aoife Griffin, Sophie Culliton, Ria Meaney, Sadbh Griffin, Aine Clancy, Meadhbh Ni Mhuineachain, Alanna Ni Chonghaile, Sinead O Leary, Niamh O Sullivan, Orla O Brien and Kylah Hickey. Mentors for this team were Barry Keating, Patricka Meaney, Paul O Sullivan and Peter O Leary.
The Saffron team was Keeva Culligan, Shauan Melican, Caoimhe Talty, Phoebe O Shea, Lauren Leahy, Kate Lees, Eimear Burke, Aoibhinn Troy, Kate Kelly, Brenda McMahon, Katie McDonnell, Olivia Haugh, Leah Culligan, Katelyn Haugh and Rebecca McNamara. On Saturday 11th of June , Fergus Rovers will host a county board blitz in Frure. Kilrush and Doora Barefield will travel to play two teams for the host club. Start time is 10am.
U10s are on a two week break for Holy Communion and will resume at Frure on May 28th.

West Clare Blitz,(12-6-15)
Last Saturday Fergus Rovers fielded two teams in the West Clare blitz. They played teams from Cooraclare, Kilrush and the host club West Clare Gaels.
Training for the u10 panel resumes on Saturday 30th of May in Ballynacally at 10am.
Round 2 of u10 blitz (20-5-15)
Fergus Rovers took part in Clooney Quin blitz on Sunday last. Rovers had 19 players and field two teams. Each team played three games Doora Barefield, Clooney Quin and Kilmihil. All girls played well despite the weather conditions and were competitive throughout. The players who attened were Alisha Cullinan, Amy Conlon, Andrea Moloney, Aoibhinn Troy, Claire Cuddihy, Clara Meaney, Grace Donnelly, Grace Madigan, Emer Culligan, Faye Ayers, Fiona Breen, Katelyn Haugh, Kylah Hickey, Laura Griffin, Maria Meaney, Meabh Griffin, Meabh Ryan, Niamh Ni cheallagih and Orla Hogan.

There will be NO training on 16th and 23rd of May due to girls making first holy communion. Training will resume in Ballynacally on Saturday 30th of May at 10am.
Training for u10s switches to Ballynacally. (2-5-15)
On Saturday 2nd of May u10 traininng will switch to Ballynacally at 10am for six weeks. However there will be no training on 16th and 23rd of May due to first holy communions.
Wolfe Tones blitz (21-4-15)
Wolfe Tones held the first U10 blitz of the season. Wolfe Tones, Clooney/Quin and Fergus Rovers fielded one team each. In each match Fergus Rovers played very well and generally proved stronger than either opposition. The players demonstrated the skills they have learnt in previous seasons plus skills learned so far this season. The next blitz is on Sun. May 17th when the team travels to Clooney. Training fo the u10 panel will continue over easter in Frure starting at 10am. All players must be registered and bring their gum shields.
U10 training (23-3-15)
On Saturday 21st of March the u10 started training in Frure. 21 players attened the first session. The mentors are Ronan O Ceallaigh, Collette Hogan, Gerry Griffin, Deirdre Cummins, Stephaine Murphy and Mark Cottom. Training will be in Frure for the next five weeks.

U10 training for girls born in 2005 and 2006 starts in Frure on March 21st at 10am. The mentors are Ronan O Ceallaigh, Mark Cottam, Gerry Griffin, Collette Hogan and Rita Donnelly. Registration fee is 20 euro per child. All players must wear gum shields.

U10s v Doora Barefield (14-10-14)
On Sunday morning the u10s played their final game of the year when they played Doora Barefield in Ballynacally. Both teams field two teams of 12 playing 4 x 13 minutes. In cold and foggy conditions both teams played very well with the skills level very high. Thanks also to Ava O Malley for refereeing the games. These players put in a huge effort throughout the year with a great attendace at all matches and training sessions. Well done to their management team of Ronan O Ceallaigh, Mary Keating, Gerry Griffin, Mark Cottam and Padraig Halpin for the coaching they have provided the players since March. They will now take a well earned break with approximately half the team moving to u12s next year.
U10 game switched to Ballynacally(10-10-14)
The final u10 game has been switched from Gurteen to Ballynacally on Sunday morning at 10am. Doora Barefield and Fergus Rovers will both field two teams and each will play one another. This will be their final game for 2014. Well done to the management team of Ronan O Ceallaigh, Mark Cottam, Gerry Griffin, Mary Keating and Padraig Halpin who trained the team since last March with the number of player increasing during the year and have an average of 22 players at most training sessions.The team will also train on Saturday.
Shannon Gaels blitz.(6-10-14)
On Sunday the 28th of September, Fergus Rovers attended an under 10 blitz in Labasheda. This was 11 aside and we fielded 2 teams which was great in that everyone of our girls had 3 full matches. Team 1 had matches versus Kilrush,Shannon Gaels and Kiladysart while Team 2 had games versus Miltown,Kiladysart and Kilrush. The girls played very well with both teams winning 2 games each. Padraig Halpin, Mark Cottam and Mary Keating took charge of Robyn Cottam,Niamh Ni Cheallaigh,Sinead Collins,Enja Meaney, Caoimhe Halpin, Josephine Taylor,Emma McMahon, Faye Ayers, Orla Hogan, Aisling o'Rourke & Amy Conlon. The other team was managed by Ronan O Ceallaigh and Gerry Griffin and their team consisted of Mila Pilkington, Aoibhe Crowe,Laura Griffin, Clara Meaney, Caitlin Earle, Ella Conway, Emer Culligan, Andrea Moloney & Maria Meaney. Many Thanks to all the parents for their support on the day.
Training continues at 10am next Saturday the 10th of October in Ballynacally. This will be our last training secession of the year. There will be a blitz in DooraBarefield next Sunday the 11th of October starting at 10am. Girls are requested to be in Gurteen at 9.30am. This will be our last outing of the year and we hope to field 2 teams again on that day. We are delighted with the great turnouts throughout the year and we feel that the girls have made good progress during 2014. Many thanks to the parents for all their help and support throughout the year.

It was expected the u10s would take part in the Cooraclare blitz this weekend, however that has now been cancelled and they will train in Ballynacally as usual at 10am.
Burren Gaels Blitz (28-8-14)
The u10 panel will take part in the Burren Gaels blitz this Saturday morning in Lisdoonvarna. The following Saturday 6th of September training will return to Ballynacally pitch at the usual time of 10am.
U 10s take a break (25-07-14)
U 10s will take Saturday July 26th and Saturday August 2nd off and will resume on Saturday August 9th.
U10s do well in Shannon (14-7-14)
Fergus Rovers played Burren Gaels, Wolfe Tones and the Banner when they travelled to Shannon on Sunday morning. 19 players attended with all getting plenty game time. Rovers played well and dominated two games showing the improvement they have made. Well done to all and their mentors. The u10s will train again next Saturday but will take a break for two weeks on Sat. 26th of July and 2nd of August.
U10 take part in Wolfe tones bltiz (12-7-14)
On Sunday morning the u10 panel will travel to Shannon to take part in the Wolfe Tones blitz. They will play 3 games and a large panel is expected to travel.
U10 blitz a great success.(29-6-14)
The Clubs blitz was held in perfect weather conditions in Frure today. Fergus Rovers fielded two teams of 11 with teams from Kilmihil, Kildysart and Doora Barefield attending. Each teams played at least three games each which were refereeed by Ava OMalley and Ciara Hartigan. A great spread of food was supplied by parents and family members from the home team which went down a treat. A big thank you to ladies who served the food for the morning. Great work was done organising the pitches, dressing rooms and having everything in top order by the mentors of the u10 panel, Ronan,Padraig, Gerry, Mark, Mary and Rosie. U10 blitz 29th June(23-6-14)
Fergus Rovers blitz will be held next Sunday 29th June in Frure at 10am. Visting teams from Kildyart, Doora Barefield and Kilmihil will attend. Parents are requested to provide food for the visiting teams. It is hoped Fergus Rovers will field two teams on the day. The u10 teams is managed by Ronan O Ceallaigh, Padraig Halpin, Mark Cottam, Gerry Griffin , Mary Keating and Rosie McMahon.
Rovers do well in Doora Barefield blitz(16-6-14)
Fergus Rovers had a large panel of players at the Doora Barefield blitz last Saturday morning. Rovers competed well when they played three games with all players playing their part. Next up is the clubs own blitz in Frure on Sunday 29th of June when there will be three visiting teams.
Doora Barefield U 10 Blitz
Fergus Rovers will have their first matches of the year at U 10 level on Saturday June 14th when they travel to the Doora Barefield G.A.A. Grounds at Gurteen for a 10a.m. start. Mentors Ronan O'Ceallaigh, Padraig Halpin, Mary Keating, Gerry Griffin and Mark Cottam hope to have a full turn out on the day.

On Saturday 24th of May training will resume at the usual time of 10am in Ballynacally for six weeks.There has been a great turn out for all trainings so far this year.
U 10 Update
The U 10s will have thier sixth session of the season on Saturday at Frure at 10a.m. Mentors Ronan O'Ceallaigh (manager), Padraig Halpin, Gerry Griffin, Mary Keating and Mark Cottam are pleased with their progress to date. Training will move to Ballynacally from saturday May 3rd.
Return for new season (22-03-14)
U10 training started this morning under the management team of Ronan O Ceallaigh, Gerry Griffin, Mary Keating, Padraig Halpin and Mark Cottam. Some of these girls are returning for their third or fourth year of football have learned many skills over the years. Training continues every Saturday morning at 10am until 11am in Frure.
Start of the season (12-3-14)
Training for all U10 players will start on Saturday 22nd March in Frure at 10am. The manager is Ronan O Ceallaigh and assisted by Padraig Halpin, Gerry Griffin, Mary Keating and Mark Cottam.
Cooraclare Bitz (12-10-13)
Fergus Rovers u10s attended the Cooraclare blitz this morning. In very cold conditions Rovers played four games. The first game against Kilrush was very even with little between the sides. The home side provided the opposition for the next game before we played Doora Barefield and Kilmihil. Each girl started a minimum of two games and all 19 players doing well. Cooraclare Blitz, (11-10-13)
The u10 team will travel to Cooraclare on Saturday morning 12 October to take in the final blitz of the year. Players are expected to be in Cooraclare of 9.40am at the latest.
The U10 panel attended a well orgainised Kilmihil blitz on Saturday last. Rovers played four games first up was Cooraclare then Miltown, after a break which plenty of food was provided we faced Kilrush who were very strong and finally we played very well against Doora Barefield. 15 players togged on the day and all played very well. Next week they will travel to Cooraclare to attend their blitz with either Saturday or Sunday to be confirmed.
Kilmihil Blitz, (1-10-13)
The u10 team will take part in the Kilmihil blitz to be held on Saturday 5th October. All players are expected to be in Kilmihil for 9.40am.
U10s v Doora Barefield (22-09-13)
The u10 panel played a series of games against Doora Barefield this morning in Frure. All players did well (see photos in more photos 6 (2013). There will be no training next weekend due to the hurling All Ireland replay. On the 5th of October the u10s will travel to Kilmihil for their blitz and on the following week October 13th they are away to take part in the Cooraclare Blitz.

Fergus Rovers u10s will play Doora Barefield on Saturday morning in Frure at 10am. The following weekend Sept 29th there will be no training due to the hurling All Ireland final replay.

U10s v Kildysart (31-08-13)
The u10 panel played a challange game against Kildysart last Saturday morning in Frure pitch. Two teams of 8 took to the field and played excellent football with the home team coming well on top. Well done to all the girls on the day. Kilrush Blitz (29-07-13)
Fergus Rovers took part in the Kilrush blitz last Sunday when they played three games. First up was Cooraclare were the team played very well, in the second game the host club who were very strong, the third team we played was Shannon Gaels and again playing very well. The panel was as follows Sarah Sheehan, Aine Slattery, Lisa Hill, Hazel Halpin, Caoimhe Halpin, Aishling o Rourke, Enya Meaney, Clara Meaney, Sorcha Donneallan, Shauna Griffin, Laura Griffin, Aoibhe Crowe and Sherrie Marrinan. The team will now take a two week break from training.
U 10s to play in Kilrush Blitz (20-07-13)
Fergus Rovers U 10s will travel to participate in the Kilrush Blitz on Sunday July 28th. Parents are asked to note that there will be no training on Saturday July 27th but the girls can cheer on the U 8s at Frure instead at 10a.m. as they also play Kilrush.
U10 Blitz abandoned (1-07-13)
The U10 blitz held yesterday had to be abandoned half way through due to bad weather, It was very disappointing for all involved as a lot of work had taken place to orgainse it. Banner, Kilrush, Cooraclare, Doora Barefield x 2 and Kilmihil had all travelled and played two games each before it was called off. Thank you to all who helped out on the day in particular to the caterers who were very busy as players and parent made for cover due to the conditions. Thank you to all parents who supplied food which went down a treat and to anyone who helped in anyway from bringing goal posts to the pitch, cleaning dressing rooms etc. Also our three club referees Aoife Clohessy, Laura Hanrahan and Triona Melican, Thank you!
U10 Bltiz on 30th June (26-06-13)
The Fergus Rovers 11th annual U10 blitz will be held in Frure pitch on Sunday 30th of June. There will be six visiting teams Kilrush, Kilmihil, Cooraclare, Banner and Doora Barefield x 2. The first games will start at 10 am.
Fergus Rovers do well at Doora Barefield blitz (15-06-13)
Fergus Rovers attended the Doora Barefield Blitz in Gurteen this morning where they played four games. First up was Cooraclare in a very tough game, next was Doora Barefield Lions, Kilrush and Kilmihil. Fergus Rovers played well in all games with 22 players taking to the field over the four games. Fergus Rovers U10 Blitz on 29th of June (11-06-13)
On 29th of June the club will hold its annual blitz in Frure Gaa pitch also with a start time of 10am. It is hoped 7 teams will travel. More details nearer to the time.
Doora Barefield blitz (11-06-13)
On Saturday 15th of June the u10 panel will have their first blitz when they travel to Gurteen when they take part in the Doora Barefield blitz. Start time is 10am and all player are requested to be in the dressing rooms as 9.30am..Two weeks later the club will hold its annual blitz in Frure Gaa pitch also with a start time of 10am. It is hoped 7 teams will travel. More details nearer to the time.
There will be no training on Saturday 18th of May and Saturday 25th of May due to first holy communions. Training will resume on June 1st in Ballynacally at 10am.
U 10 training returns to Frure on Saturday next April 27th from 10a.m. sharp to 11a.m. From Saturday May 4th training willmove to Ballynacally for the next six sessions.

Great start to U 10 season (24-03-13)
The U 10 season for girls norn in 03 and 04 got off to a great start on March 23rd with twenty one girls attending the first session. Training will continue on Saturday mornings at Frure from 10a.m. sharp to 11a.m. After six sessions training will switch to Ballynacally for a further six weeks.
Season begins (03-03-13)
The U10 season for 2013 will get under way on March 23rd in Frure G.A.A. pitch from 10a.m. to 11a.m. The manager of the U10s for the coming year is Padraig Halpin and will be helped by Mary Keating, Gerry Griffin, Edel Donnellan and Nollaig Griffin.After a period of six weeks training will switch to Ballynacally for a further six weeks.

Doora Barefield Blitz(13-10-12)
Fergus Rovers u10s finished the year when they attended a well orgainised Doora Barefield blitz which was held in their Gurteen pitch on Saturday last. Rovers had two teams on the day and both played three games each. Both teams played well on the day and all can be proud of their displays. It is hoped all will be back in 2013 at either u10s or u12 level.(see photos of Doora Barefield blitz in photos 2012 section).
Fergus Rovers u10s had their final session with a difference when they had a disco. D.J Garry Hill provided the music for the night and a great evening had by all. The U10s last blitz will be Saturday 12 October when they travel to Gurteen to take part in the Doora Barefield blitz. Well done to all the girls who were involved during the year. Kilmihil blitz (6-10-12)
On Saturday 6 October Fergus Rovers u10s will travel to Kilmihil for their blitz. The start time is 10am and all girls are reqeusted to be in the dressing room for 9.30am. Om Thursday 11th October will be this groups final training session for 2012 and the following Saturday they will finish the year when they take part in the Doora Barefield blitz.
Cooraclare Blitz (4-10-12)
Last Saturday the U10 panel took part in the Cooraclare blitz. Rovers played four games against Kilmihil, West Clare Gaels, Cooraclare and Doonbeg and won all four. Well done to all. Next Saturday it off to Kilmihil for their blitz.(see pictures in photos 2012 section).

The under 10 panel have three up coming blitz in the next four weeks. On Saturday 29th of September Rovers will travel to the Kilmihil Blitz with a time to be confirmed. The U10 panel will be presented with their hoddies on Sunday evening at 6.30 in Lissycasey main pitch. The hoddies have been sponsored by John and Sarah Hehir of Fanny o Deas.

Fergus Rovers U10s take a two week break from training. Training will resume in Frure on 2nd August.
Fergus Rovers took part in the Miltown blitz on Saturday 30th of June. Very heavy showers and a strong wind made playing conditions very difficult but Rovers played well in their three games. First up was Kilrush then Miltown and the final game against Cooraclare. Fergus Rovers U10s will travel to Miltown on Saturday 30th of June for the Miltown blitz. Players are asked to be there for 9.40am and the first game will start at 10am. It is hoped fergus Rovers will field two teams.
Fergus Rovers travelled to The Banner GAA grounds on Sunday morning where they played three games. First up was Doora Barefield Cat, Doora-Barefield Kittens and finally the host club the Banner ladies. 15 players played their part on the day. Well done to all the girls who took part. Rovers next outing is the Miltown blitz next Saturday morning. Training resumes on Thursday evening from 6 to 7pm in Frure.(see photos in photos 2012 section)
Hoddie fitting (20-06-12)
All Fergus Rovers players are been supplied with new hoddies this year, parents are requested to attend training Thursday 21st of June at 6pm so players can fit for their hoddie.
Fergus Rovers will travel to the Banner to play in their U10 blitz on Sunday 24th of June with a start of 10.30am. All players are requested to be there by 10.10am.
U10 blitz (12-06-12)
Fergus Rovers held there U10 blitz which was yet again a great success last Sunday. Eight teams visited Doora Barefield x 2 teams, Kilrush, Kilmihil, Cooraclare, Miltown, Banner and Doonbeg. Each team played five games. The games were refereed by Orla Griffin, Aoife Clohessy and Laura Hanrahan. Parents of the fergus Rovers panel provided food which was greatly appreciated. Well done to all who help orgainise the weekend. (see pictures in photos 2012).
U10 Blitz (23-05-12)
Fergus Rovers will hold their 10th Annual U10 Blitz on Sunday 10th of June in Frure, Lissycasey with a start time of 10.30am. Players are requested to be at the pitch for 10am. The club hope to field two teams. Twelve teams representing eight clubs are due to take part on the day. The participating teams are Fergus Rovers, Doonbeg, Miltown, Kilmihil, Cooraclare, Doora Barefield, Banner Ladies and Kilrush. Parents are asked to help out by providing food on the day.
Rovers do well in Kilrush blitz(13-05-12)
Fergus Rovers U 10s travelled to Kilrush on Sunday morning and played four games playing Kilrush, Doora Barefield, Kilmihil and The Banner. Rovers had 18 players togged and all got plenty game time. The panel that travelled was as follows, Ava Cotter, Aine Slattery, Aine Garry, Bethan Eustace, Eimear Walsh, Ellean Griffin, Holly Garry, Heather Moore, Isobil Cantillon, Lisa Hill, Michelle Carraig, Meghan Keane, Molly Mccarthy, Orla Ni Ceallagh, Sorcha Donnellan, Sherrie Marrinan, Sarah Sheehan and Savina Brown. Well done to all the girls.

Kilrush blitz (04-05-12)
Fergus Rovers will travel to Kilrush to take part in there U10s blitz on Sunday 13th of May with a start time of 10.30am. We are hoping to have two teams attending so everyone will get plenty game time. Anyone who is unable to attend should contact the manager Kevin Cotter as soon as possible so numbers can be finalised. Players are requested to be in Kilrush dressing rooms no later than 10.10 am.
The Fergus Rovers U10s panel received there Irish Daily Star gear after training today. The gear consisted of a jersey, shorts and sock.
Start of the season (22-03-12)
Fergus Rovers U10s had their first training session of the new season on Thursday 22nd March under the management team of Kevin Cotter, Imelda Griffin, Tim. Ryan, Kevin Hill and Nollaig Griffin. Training will continue every Thursday at Frure G.A.A. pitch from 6pm to 7pm. All players received a Registration Form which needs to be filled and returned as soon as possible to any team mentor.
U10s training (02-03-12)
Fergus Rovers U10s will start training onThursday March 22nd in Frure G.A.A. pitch from 6pm to 7pm. All girls in the parish of Lissycasey and Ballynacally of this age group are more than welcome to come and train. The manager is Kevin Cotter.
Under 10s 2011
Doora Barefield Blitz, 08-10-11
Fergus Rovers U10s had there final outing of the year when they travelled to Gurteen to play in the Doora Barefield blitz. twenty players togged out making up two teams. Fergus Rovers Cats played three games against Doora Barefild, Banner A and Cooraclare. They lost they first game by one point won the second and drew the third against Cooraclare in a very good and exciting game.
Fergus Rovers Kittens also played three games having mixed luck on the day. This was a great bunch of girls and the parents and mentors should be very proud.
Seven of this team now moves on to the U12s for next season and they are Shauna Hayes,
Emma Hill, Grace O Sullivan, Lenna Conway, Paula Cusack, Roisin Ni Ceallaigh and Tara O Malley.
A big thank you from the players and parents to mentors Kevin Cotter and Imelda Griffin for all there work throughtout the year.
U10s Disco, 06-10-11
On Thursday last the U10s had a disco with local lad Gary Hill as D.J. Goodie bags were provided to all players and a great night had by all.
Doora -Barefield Blitz
On Saturday 8th of October Fergus Rovers U10s will travel to Gurteen for the final game for 2011 with the time yet to be confirmed.
At Kilmihil on Saturday 1st of October a much improved display from Fergus Rovers U10s, Fergus Rovers Cats had four games against kilmihil, Cooraclare, Doonbeg and West Clare Gaels. This group won two games and lost two, loosing one game by one point. Fergus Rovers Kittens also played four games with mixed fortunes. The under 10s have one more training session on Thursday from 6 to 7 as the following Saturday they will have there last outing of the year when they travel to Doora Barefield for there blitz.
On Saturday the 1st of October Fergus Rovers Under 10s will travel to play Kilmihil in their blitz
Cooraclare U10 blitz
Two teams travelled to Cooraclare on Sunday 11th of September to play in their u10 blitz. Fergus Rovers played teams from Doora Barefield, Cooraclare Miltown and Kilmihil. They had mixed luck on the day with conditions very difficult.
Fergus Rovers U10s will resume training on August 25th at 6pm in Frure.
Fergus Rovers Blitz
Fergus Rovers held their 9th annual U 10 Blitz on the 19th of June in Frure GAA pitch in Lissycasey. Ten teams took part with over one hundred and ten players participating.
Lining out in their new jerseys, Fergus Rovers played five games against Banner Cats, Doora Barefield Cats, Kilrush Kittens, Cooraclare and Kilmihil.
The team was managed and trained by Kevin Cotter and Imelda Griffin assisted on the day by U 14 manager Anne Hill.
A big thanks to all parents who provided and served food and to those who organised the pitch.
Thanks to the three referees on the day, Laura Hanrahan, Ciara O'Malley and Orla Griffin who are on on the club senior panel. Thanks also the the Co-Ordinator on the day, Aine Kelly. Well done to all our girls.
Played on May 15th in Kilrush GAA Pitch, Fergus Rovers played 5 games, the first game against Kilrush Cats next up was Cooraclare. We played our third game against Kilrush Kittens before we played Kilmihil and finally the Banner. Fourteen players played on the day and a great day was had by all.
Banner Ladies Blitz.
This was the first Blitz of the year for our U10s and the first time The Banner club held a blitz. Here our seventeen girst played three matches against Banner Ladies, Doora Barefield and Kilrush. Eventhough at this age group participation and enjoyment are key its nice also to say that a few wins werer recorded.
